So happy with my homebred Charlton Baliro at the NZ Dressage Champs this weekend winning the Level 2 Championships and the Masters Level1-4.

Have spent a busy winter farming and also schooling the horses and getting the younger ones going ready to compete this season. Looking forward to a busy spring competing and expecting two new babies.

An exciting weekend for Charlton Stud with Loran winning the A1 class at the NZ Pony Club eventing champs on Flintoff. The pair were second after dressage and jumped a clear cross country and show jumping to take the win.
This is Loran's 3rd win at champs, having won the DC class for the previous two years. Loran now has one up on her mum, Lynly, who won champs twice in her pony club days.

Was fun to be back eventing at Kihikihi, great event with the usual fantastic courses and organisation. Had a great ride on Charlton Xplorer for 3rd in pre novice. Charlton Yenta was also a star going double clear in her second pre novice start. Congratulations to the winners.
